Graphics Card Repair Website: What It Cost, What We Built and How It Ranks

Specialist repairs for customers across Australia by mail, plus a local workshop. The first version cost $1,200 at our prices and took 2 to 3 weeks to build. It's one of three websites we've built and still run. Everything below is real, checked on 30 October 2026.

What did it need?

Graphics card owners search by the card they have and the fault it shows. The business also needed to reach people in regional towns who post their card in, while still winning local computer repair work.

What did it cost?

$1,200
for the first version, at our prices
2 to 3 weeks
to build the first version

That price was the total for the first version, with no GST on top. The site has grown since, and many of the pages below were added later, as the business needed them. Extra pages are always priced in writing before we build them.

What does the site have now?

  • A hand-built site of about 110 pages, hosted on Netlify
  • 10 pages for specific graphics card models
  • 29 pages for regional towns that send cards in by mail
  • 17 pages for local suburbs, and 10 plain-English guides
  • An enquiry form on 53 pages that asks how people found the business and what they searched, so the owner can see which pages bring in work

It's built by hand.

Where does it rank on Google?

  • Second in Google Australia for the main search for its specialist repair, which gets about 480 searches a month
  • Fifth for a second search with about 480 a month
  • On page one for 5 searches, and showing up for 65 in total

How fast does it load?

81
speed score out of 100
1.8 s
to show the main content
0.08 MB
homepage size

The whole homepage weighs about 84 KB. The score is held back by a redirect and the time the server takes to reply.

Google's target is to show the main content within 2.5 seconds. This was a desktop test, and phones usually score lower.

What can a Hunter business learn from it?

  • If customers search by the product they own, give each model its own page.
  • If you serve people outside your area, by post or by travelling, a page for each town shows them you cover it.
  • Ask every enquiry how they found you and what they searched. It shows which pages bring in work, so you know what to build next.

Why don't you name this site?

It's a business we own and run ourselves, and we keep it separate. You're welcome to ask about it when we talk.

What would a site like this cost me?

Our small site starts from $830 for up to 5 pages, and our business site from $1,740 for up to 12 pages, with no GST on top. You get a page list and a fixed price in writing before anything starts. See what each price includes.
